With the coming release of the Beta 0.3 version of the Naval Battles: CCG plugin for LackeyCCG, I wanted to go through some rules additions.
1. With the expanded ship and weapon selection I have added Italy and the Netherlands to the NATO faction and introduced new ships and weapons along with those countries. I may even introduce more surface ships in future revisions of the set.
2. There are going to be a number of weapon cards that will say "Can only be equipped to X" where X is either a sub or a surface ship. These play as they say; if they can only be equipped to a sub, that's all you can use them on and vice versa.
3. The Sub Hunt set will introduce a couple of new Defense card types. The first are the CV Conversion cards. These cards replace pylons on your flagship with flight deck and hanger for either helicopters, V/STOL or conventional aircraft. The cards will specify what they will take for pylon space, how many hangers it will make and what type of aircraft you can run. Note that if your CV Conversion card is destroyed, so are your aircraft.
4. This set will also introduce another new Defense card type, Base Defense. These cards go along with new resources introduced in this set that will have either 2 or 3 pylons for these new Base Defense cards. They can be either guns, missiles or CIWS, and can be used for offense or defense. Some of them will give buffs to defense for your resources and construction items to help defend against aircraft or missiles.
Along with a number of new sub cards including new Legendary Subs, I have also introduced the guided missile sub. These subs will come equipped with a special pylon that can only have anti-ship or cruise missiles equipped to. Otherwise they work like any other weapon pylon. Only Russia has them in this game so far.
